Changes for Fall and Winter 2026

As we head into fall and winter, Arcadia Valley Soap Company is taking a a bit longer of a pause. The shop will be closed for most of the remainder of 2026 as we focus on some much-needed renovations to our beloved pink granite building on Main Street.

This little building means everything to me, and it's time to give it the care it deserves. Colin and I are addressing damaged windows, upgrading the electrical systems, and tackling some roof work—projects that simply can't wait. Beyond our own walls, we're also working to breathe new life into our community by preparing other local buildings for small business occupants. It's a big undertaking, and with everything on our plate, opening the shop wasn't realistic.

But we didn't want to leave the door completely closed. Starting in the coming weeks and continuing through the holidays, we're excited to welcome other talented local soapmakers into our space to showcase their products. I've always had tremendous respect for artisans who brave the fall and winter weather doing market booths—that takes dedication I simply don't have in me. If opening our doors to these wonderful crafters can support our community while we handle what needs doing, that's a win for everyone.

Our own brands, MoSoap® and Botanical Earth®, will also be on pause for a bit longer as we navigate this transition.
