Renovations taking longer - Opening Spring of 2027

Maybe it's just that I am older, but time is flying by!  Truly I expected to open for the Winter season but it's just not working out. The plan is for Spring 2027 which will bring some pretty big changes for Arcadia Valley Soap Co.  

We should have all the renovations for the soap shop completed by Spring along with 2 of the other buildings finished.  The 102 old Drug Store buildings is coming along but roofers vanish, masons never show and well, like me, a lot of contractors are not particularly good at returning phone calls.  I think I am feeling karma : )  I hate talking on the phone.

The 123 / 121 building next door to the soap shop is moving along also - any of the renderings I have shown people receive very positive responses.  I just did not plan on personally demoing a building by hand with my husband but here I am dumpster after dumpster removing everything.  Thank goodness I make soap because we are filthy after working in the old barber shop.

An earlier post mentioned that we would have pop up shops for the holidays.  With the construction, it would be more chaotic than helpful, I think.  Plus, Colin thinks it would cause more confusion with other brands rotating in and out of my shop.

There's a chance I might offer a few items over Christmas, but I will post here on the blog, so please follow., Walking away from social media has been a wonderful thing so I doubt I will even bother posting on Facebook, Insta or X.  The people that like my products will find them and I don't need the constant contact that social media offers.
